BlackBerry Torch 9800 QWERTY Slider Smartphone Review

BlackBerry Torch 9800 QWERTY Slider Smartphone Review

Windows Phone 7 is creating all the recent buzz but BlackBerry has also recently launched a new operating system the BlackBerry OS 6.0 and the BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone is one of the first handsets to feature this freshly baked operating system. By the looks of it BlackBerry looked upon the Palm Pre when making this device as it is built on the same concept as the Palm Pre. It is a touchscreen smartphone with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. Personally we like this kind of handsets as they offer the advantages of a large touchscreen smartphone and the convenience of a physical keyboard for typing long emails and text messages.

Samsung NF210 10.1 inch Netbook Review

Creating a Netbook with a difference isn’t the easiest task as manufacturers mostly stick to a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom and a 10.1 inch screen (1024 x 600 px). Samsung Omnia 7 Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Review

After going through HTC’s Windows Phone 7 lineup we had a look at Samsung Omnia 7 smartphone. Specs-wise it does little to differentiate from HTC’s offerings as it too features a 1 GHz processor, a large 4 inch capacitive touchscreen and a 5 megapixel digital camera with LED flash. Comparing the Samsung Galaxy S the Omnia 7 definetely feels like a better handset with its luxurious aluminium construction. It is a brilliant entertainment smartphone and the form factor feels just right.

HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Review

HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Review

HTC’s HD series have always been the showcase top hardware and for-most-too-large-screen at 4.3 inches. Unfortunately the build quality is not up to the HD series and the screen while bright it lets down by poor contrast and viewing angles. Continue reading >
