HP TouchPad 9.7 inch webOS Tablet Announced

It’s been leaked and hinted couple of times and now here is the official announcement of the first webOS tablet – the HP TouchPad. We have been most excited to see this baby as we absolutely love the webOS since its initial launch as it was sleek, fast and offered true multitasking. HP opted for a standard 4:3 screen the same as it is found in the Apple iPad which was a bit unexpected as most other manufacturers opted out for a widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio screens as they are more suited for enjoying multimedia so HP has really gone directly after the iPad with its 9.7 inch (1024 x 768 px) tablet. It will feature a flush multitouch screen, virtual keayboard, instant-on access and web broser will offer full support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1. All of that will be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor which should  make it extremely fast and responsive

Dell and Alienware Notebooks Added to Our Notebook Finder

Dell and Alienware Notebooks Added to Our Notebook Finder

We are happy to announce that today we added 124 Dell and 23 Alienware notebook models to our Notebook Finder database. Dell offers a wide range of notebooks covering all notebook categories and we added 60 business notebooks, 12 entertainment notebooks, 17 gaming notebooks, 14 mainstream notebooks, 27 portable notebooks, 7 premium notebooks, 2 rugged notebooks, 2 tablet notebooks and 6 workstation notebooks. We have already previously added some of Dell notebooks and now the total of Dell notebooks counts 268 and 23 Alienware notebooks. This completes our notebook database at 2191 notebook models and we will now focus on completing the Beta testing of the Notebook Finder. But not to worry we will not go into hibernation mode as we will keep adding new models when they are released each month.Full list of notebooks added after the break.

We are happy to announce that today we added 15 Panasonic rugged notebooks to our Notebook Finder database. As these are our first rugged notebooks we had to create a new category in our Notebook Catalogue as well. Rugged notebooks are made using durable hardware and tough materials to ensure that notebooks get take a lot of punishment. Freezing or hot temperatures, dust, water? No problem as most of rugged notebooks are pretty much environment proof. On top of that they are designed to survive a height drop and many bumps while in transit which makes them very suitable for outdoor use.

Today we expanded our notebook database with new notebook models from Toshiba, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Sony and Asus. In total we added in total 2 HP notebooks, 13 Sony notebooks, 58 Toshiba notebooks, 3 Samsung notebooks, 2 Lenovo notebooks and 4 Asus notebooks. With this latest addition our Notebook Finder database now consists of 2029 notebooks so why not give it a go in finding your perfect notebook. Dell XPS 15 (N00XL503) 15.6 inch Notebook Review

We have already had a look at the Dell XPS 17 and now is its smaller brother’s turn. Dell XPS 15 features the same chassis design but is a bit smaller as it sports a 15.6 inch screen. As the chassis is smaller Dell fitted it with slower hardware which is note necessarily a bad thing for some users as this brings the price down to a more affordable level for an average user. The connectivity and 2.1 JBL speaker system are still present which adds to the value of this notebook so this just might be a good choice for everyday use.
