Last week we posted that Dell is about to refresh its Alienware M11x notebook series with Intel Sandy Bridge processors but there was no word on graphics. Alienware M11x R3 manual popped up on Dell’s supports website prior to the launch of the notebook revealing detailed specifications including details about the so important graphics chip. While the previous generation nVidia GeForce GT 335M was completely adequate with scoring about 6,000 points in 3D Mark06 benchmark we welcome the upgrade to the nVidia GeForce GT 540M which is about 30% faster scoring about 8,000 points in 3D Mark 06.
