After announcing a refresh of their smallest gaming notebook Alienware M11x R3 series Alienware decided to announce a notebook for the big boys that need ‘true’ gaming hardware in a notebook. Enter the AlienwareM18x notebook. A gamer’s dream come true featuring a full HD 18.4 inch screen (1920 x 1080 px), an overclocked 4.0 Ghz Intel Core i7 Extreme (yes 4.0 GHz – not a typo), a selection of highend AMD CrossFireX and nVidia SLI graphics and up to 32 GB DDR3 RAM all packaged in an anodised aluminium chassis.
This definitely is a bad boy you wouldn’t want to mess with. It will come in black or red colour options. Only questions remaining are when and how much. No official info yet but probably will be available this summer with prices starting at £2000. Until then check the photos below.
