Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet Android 3.1 Hands-on Video
After announcing the consumer oriented IdeaPad K1 tablet Lenovo announced another tablet but this time around is aimed at the business users. Internal hardware is pretty much the same as the IdeaPad K1 with a 10.1 inch screen (1280 x 800 px), 1 GHz dual core nVidia Tegra 2 processor, 16/32/64 GB internal storage and 1 GB RAM. Where the ThinkPad Tabled really differentiate itself from the IdeaPad K1 is the optional Keyboard Folio case which sports a ThinkPad class keyboard wrapped in a case. The concept of a dedicated keyboard is very appealing as Asus has shown with Eee Transformer which has been the most popular Honeycomb tablet so far. We’ll have to wait and see how will Lenovo’s business alternative be received. If all goes as planned we won’t have to wait long as the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet should hit the stores next month with starting price of $499 in the US.
