It looks like Asus, Samsung, HP and Dell just can’t wait for finger friendly Windows 8 to come out as they have all released Windows 7 tablets recently. While Dell’s and HP’s efforts are pretty average the Samsung 700T is actually the first Windows 7 tablet we have seen that might actually do a decent job. Still we think it would be better to hold off your Windows tablet purchase just  a wee-bit longer as Windows 8 is just around the corner. We added 40 tablets this month bringing the total number of tablets in our Tablet Finder to 160.  See the tull list of tablets added after the break.

Netbook Finder Update – December 2011

With Samsung announcing it might pull out of the netbook market soon, Dell’s netbook reduced to only the Inspiron Duo and Acer flirting with a similar decission the future for netbooks looks bleak. So it came to us a surprise that there were a total of 29 netbooks added to our Netbook Finder database which brings the total number of netbooks in our database to 412.  Full list of netbooks added after the break.

Top 10 – Most Popular Tablets November 2011

The Cambridge Sciences V10 tablet stayed firmly in top of the chart this month and it doesn’t look like we will see a new #1 anytime time soon. We’ll see how the Honeycomb packing tablet from Cambridge Sciences will fare once we add it to our database. Check the full chart after the break.

Top 10 – Most Popular Netbooks November 2011

After losing the grips on the#1 spot in our notebook chart, HP lost #1 spot in our netbook chart as well. The top spot was this month was taken by Asus Eee PC 1011PX. Still HP managed to grab 3 spots, while eMachines got 2 entries and Asus, Acer, Packard Bell, Toshiba and Samsung got one-a-piece. Check the full chart after the break.

Surprise, surprise… #1 notebook this month isn’t an HP nor is #2. These honors go to Toshiba Satellite L755 and Packard Bell EasyNote TK85. The reign of HP is finally over, but for how long. Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Review

With Galaxy Nexus smartphone released into the wild reviews of the new Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich started popping up on the web. By far the most in-depth review we have seen was done by our friends over at Engadet.

By the looks of it the Ice Cream Sandwich is the tastiest flavour the Google Android operating system we have seen so far as it brings the Honeycomb UI to the smartphones while adding loads of new features. It still isn’t the most noob friendly OS out there but current Android users will definitely appreciate all the goodies.
