If you really can’t spend more than £300 on a notebook the HP Compaq Presario CQ57-371EA is probably your best choice thanks to not only the sufficient performance but also a good battery life that previous generation AMD and any Intel’s budget platform can’t come anywhere near. Still we think you would be better of spending an extra £50 on a previous generation Intel Core i3 notebook.
