Nokia announced two new Lumia smartphones – the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 – that hope to make Windows Phone 8 relevant in the what is at the moment an iOS/Android smartphone world. To achieve this Nokia has packed quite a few new features such as PureView camera which brings optical stabilisation to smartphones for the first time ever.

Then there is the PureMotion HD+ screen which Nokia claims it’s worlds brightest, clearest and faster touchscreen ever while also being responsive even if you use it with your gloves on. On the software front there is Nokia City Lens which aims to take the augmented reality in smartphones to another level.
