Top search for the past few months on our website has been the Olympus E-PL2 is Micro Four Thirds camera and now it is finally available for purchase for about £500 and guys over at Photography Blog got us covered with an in-depth review. Compared to its predecessor the Olympus E-PL1 it offers a larger and higher resolution3 inch LCD screen, a live wheel selector, dramatic tone art filter, ISO ranging from 200 to 6400, a refreshed version of the 14-42mm kit lens, new accessory port 2 for bluetooth connectivity, macro arm light which takes care of precise illumination of macro shots and there are three new conversion lenses available. The body remains small, light and plastic to keep the camera in the "affordable" price range. Also  the 12.3 megapixel sensor, image stabilisation, supersonic wave filter, one-touch HD video recording and 3fps continuous shooting remain the same as on the E-PL1.

Say you want to record full HD video (1920 x 1080 px) and take great looking photos with a compact camera that fits into your pocket. You are in luck as Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 will do that without any problems whatsoever. But what usually gives a lot with one hand takes a lot with the other one and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 is no exception as it truly does offer pretty much everything you would want in a compact digital camera but it will empty your wallet without any shame as it is retailing at £359. Samsung EX-1 10 megapixel Digital Camera Review

Samsung EX-1 10 megapixel Digital Camera Review
Saturday, 14 August 2010 by Vito Zgonik

Look out Canon PowerShot G11 and Panasonic LX5 as there is some serious competition on the block the Samsung EX-1 digital camera. The specs are very promising with a back-illuminated CMOS 10 megapixel sensor, super-bright f1.8 lens all for less then £320. Sounds great to us and according to guys over at Cnet the Samsung EX-1 is a solid high-end compact digital camera that does have some minor handling issues but otherwise it features good quality lens and a very pocket-friendly priced.

We have already posted review on the Sony NEX-5 and is it's younger brother's turn. Guys over at Cnet tested the Sony NEX-3 and concluded that both the Sony NEX-3 and NEX-5 combine innovative and cutting-edge features but they perform rather like beefed-up compact digital cameras then slimmed-down SLRs. But the bottom line is the Sony NEX-5 offers great value for money.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 Digital Camera Review

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 Digital Camera Review
Wednesday, 21 July 2010 by Vito Zgonik

We loved the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 so we were excited to find out how its successor the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 Digital Camera will perform. Luckily guys over at Cnet posted a review and concluded that the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 lacks some of the versatility you'd expect from this range of digital cameras but still this is a very powerful compact digital camera as it offers many options in a light-weight and attractive camera.

Canon PowerShot SD4000 IS 10 megapixel Digital Camera Review
Friday, 11 June 2010 by Vito Zgonik

Jim Keenan at DigitalCameraReview tested the freshly baked Canon PowerShot SD4000 IS and found out that this camera features pieces hardware that sets it apart from other digital cameras in the up to 5x optical zoom market as it packs back-illuminated sensor and very fast zoom lens. On top of that it produces both good quality photos and good quality videos (720p) and above average noise performance. Looks like another winner from Canon to us.

Samsung WB650 12 megapixel Digital Camera Review

Samsung WB650 12 megapixel Digital Camera Review
Friday, 04 June 2010 by Vito Zgonik

Cliff Smith at TrustedReviews posted a review on the Samsung WB650 12 megapixel Digital Camera. It features a 15x optical zoom, built-in GPS, 24 - 360 mm wide lens and 720p HD video recording. His conclusion was that in many aspects the Samsung WB650 is better than the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 as it features longer zoom range, the built-in GPS is more accurate and epic battery life, while both build quality and handling are nothing short of excellent. But when it comes down to image quality Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10 is better especially when comparing noise at any ISO level.
