HP ProBook 4330s (LW836EA) 13.3 inch Notebook Review
Tuesday, 03 January 2012 by Vito Zgonik

With all ultrabooks stealing all the hype in the portable notebook market it is easy to forget that not everyone want to spend £1000 on a 13 inch notebook. For some a notebook that is 5oo g heavier, 10 mm thicker but costing almost half less is a more compelling offer and this is where HP ProBook 4330s comes in.

Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Review

Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Review
Friday, 02 December 2011 by Vito Zgonik

With Galaxy Nexus smartphone released into the wild reviews of the new Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich started popping up on the web. By far the most in-depth review we have seen was done by our friends over at Engadet.

By the looks of it the Ice Cream Sandwich is the tastiest flavour the Google Android operating system we have seen so far as it brings the Honeycomb UI to the smartphones while adding loads of new features. It still isn't the most noob friendly OS out there but current Android users will definitely appreciate all the goodies.

In case you can't be bothered reading the long review Engadget also created a series of videos showing off the most important stuff. Hit the source link for more info.

When Apple released the first generation iPad Samsung was the closest of all the rivals with Samsung Galaxy Tab and that Apple has iPad 2 on the market Samsung is again after it with Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and by the looks of things it came even closer to nabbing the top spot this time around. Specifications at glance are 10.1 inch screen (1280 x 800 px), with weighing in at 1.33 lbs is even lighter then the iPad 2 and also a tiny bit thinner at 0.33 inch. (more...)

HTC Flyer Video Review

HTC Flyer Video Review
Saturday, 21 May 2011 by Vito Zgonik

Finally HTC Flyer got into hands of guys over at Engadget. From what we've seen it looks like a good tablet and eventhough it is running Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread HTC has done a good job of customizing the interface to make it tablet friendly. The App junkies will not find it interesting though due to Android 2.3 apps are not really large screen friendly and to make it worse it is expected to cost slightly more then the Apple iPad 2. Probably the digital pen is to blame. Now don't get us wrong HTC did do a great job with it but we don't think anyone will really make a daily use out of it. Still a solid entry into tablet market for HTC and let's hope they will bless us with a Honeycomb tablet sometime soon. Meanwhile check the video review by Engadget after the break. (more...)

LG E2360V LCD LED-backlit 23 inch Monitor Review
Sunday, 27 March 2011 by Vito Zgonik

First LED-backlighting took over the notebook market and recently it started taking over both LCD TV and LCD computer monitor markets. This resulted in thinner, sleeker and more elegant designs. To fight with other manufacturers for the top spot in this 'premium' market LG released new E60 series LCD LED-backlit monitors with smallest E1960 (18.5 inch, 1366 x 768 px), E2060 (20 inch, 1600 x 900 px), E2260 (21.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 px) and our review unit which is largest of the bunch the E2360 (23 inch, 1920 x 1080 px).

Dell XPS 15 (N00XL503) 15.6 inch Notebook Review

Dell XPS 15 (N00XL503) 15.6 inch Notebook Review
Wednesday, 02 February 2011 by Vito Zgonik

We have already had a look at the Dell XPS 17 and now is its smaller brother's turn. Dell XPS 15 features the same chassis design but is a bit smaller as it sports a 15.6 inch screen. As the chassis is smaller Dell fitted it with slower hardware which is note necessarily a bad thing for some users as this brings the price down to a more affordable level for an average user. The connectivity and 2.1 JBL speaker system are still present which adds to the value of this notebook so this just might be a good choice for everyday use.
