Samsung Series 5 Chromebook 12.1 inch Netbook Video Review

Finally the first netbook running Chrome OS has arrived and guys over at Engadget posted a great video review. There is no doubt that Samsung Series 5 Chromebook is a well built and designed netbook. But under the hood it is just another netbook with a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor and 2 GB RAM but does feature a larger 12.1 inch (1280 x 800 px) screen then most nebooks. But what really sets it apart is the new Google Chrome OS where pretty much all your data and software is stored in the cloud. A very advanced idea by Google but we think it might be to advanced for most. Check the video review by Engadget after the break.

Dell Inspiron Duo Netbook/Tablet Teaser

Dell Inspiron Duo has been briefly showed of and now Dell has released an official teaser on YouTube. Still not much is known about this netbook/tablet (Nettab, anyone?). It pretty much looks like your average 10.1 inch netbook with Intel Atom processor except that it can be converted to a tablet with a flip of the screen. It is not exactly first of its kind as tablet notebooks and netbooks have been around for awhile but it does feature a new mechanism for flipping the screen.
