Fujitsu Lifebook NH751 VFY:NH751MP433GB Reviews
The NH751 is one of the few laptops we're happy calling a 'desktop replacement', as it has many of the features we would expect to see in a desktop PC, excepting USB3. If you can live with a Blu-ray player rather than a writer, a 1,600x900 screen and a slower processor, the excellent HP dv7-6051ea (which has USB3 support and better battery life) would be a good alternative. However, if you'll use the extra power, resolution and ability to write to Blu-ray discs, the NH751 is worth the extra £200.

The Fujitsu Lifebook NH751 (starting at 999 euros) in the Core i7-2630QM, 1500 GB hard disk memory (2x 750 GB) and 17.3 inch WUXGA TFT (1920x1080) configuration is suitable for ambitioned home users, but not for gamers. Movie fans will be pleased about the Full HD screen's high contrasts, will enjoy the subwoofer basses and can save their movie collection on a hard disk capacity of 1.5 terabyte. The fact that the technical possibilities aren't exhausted (RAID, 7200 rpm, SSD) are endurable for an entertainment notebook.

Even with the focus on consumers, Fujitsu does offer one item on the LifeBook NH751 that most consumer laptops ignore. The ExpressCard slow allows for easy expansion for either newer wireless networking features or high speed external storage ports. About the only other consumer oriented laptop to include this is the Apple MacBook Pro that costs over double what this one does. The downside is that Fujitsu has lowered the warranty to just one year compared to three years that they offer on their corporate class systems.
