The Toshiba Qosmio X770 may have a design that'll appeal mainly to excitable schoolboys, but it's packing some powerful specs and offers a Full HD, 3D-capable screen. If you can put up with the awful battery life, the X770 is a decent option for gaming.

The Toshiba Qosmio X770-107 is a delight for the gamer or multimedia enthusiast with its top-notch performance and screen. There's bundles of power provided by the quad-core processor and 8GB of RAM, plenty of storage space and a Blu-ray Disc drive to boot. In terms of looks it may be an acquired taste, though the Qosmio certainly couldn't be accused of being dull. This impressive spec doesn't come cheap at over £1600.
