Welcome to the May 2012 edition of our Top 10 Most Popular Notebooks chart. It’s been one of those rare months where HP didn’t get the top spot. The honours go to Asus X54C this time around. HP still managed to grab 5 spots while Toshiba got 2 and Packard Bell and Dell grabbed one each. Check the full chart after the break.
HP Compaq branded notebooks are known to be cheap but usually do compromise on the performance and battery life. The HP Compaq Presario CQ57-371EA packs a dual core AMD processor E-450 which is an AMD Fusion based platform that promises an integrated graphics that can handle full HD playback and a good battery life all for under £300.
Last month HP finally lost the grip on the top spot but in December it came back with a vengance. The HP Pavilion g6-1200 (g6-1240sa) grabbed the top spot with nearly 4 times the views of the second placed Toshiba Satellite L755 (13K). Now, that’s what we call a comeback. Aside from HP taking 7 spots, Toshiba, Lenovo and Packard Bell managed to grab one spot each. Check the full chart after the break.
