Notebook Finder Update – November 2012

It’s been a very busy month for notebook manufacturers with Windows 8 being released just over a month ago. But it probably wasn’t the Windows 8 laptops that stole the spotlight last month. Probably it was the new MacBook Pro 13 inch with Retina display that generated the most buzz across the board. We have also seen a large influx of new ultrabooks battling for your Christmas stockings this in a couple of weeks. In total we added 538 notebooks this month which brings the total number of notebook models in our Notebook Finder database to 6,304. Full list of notebooks models added after the break.

Notebook Finder Update – July 2012

This month was relatively quiet with only 87 new models being added. Most of them just slight specifications updates with the exception of new TimelineUltra M3 ultrabook and Asus N56VM which sports a really cool design so if you are after a capable multimedia notebook you should definitely check this one out. Notebook Finder Update – May 2012

This month we finally saw more Ivy Bridge notebooks slowly started showing up. We actually were surprised that there weren’t many more. Perhaps June will be the month when the flood gate of Ivy Bridge notebooks will open fully. Notebook Finder Update – March 2012

As more and more manufacturers are releasing ultrabooks we decided this month to add a new category specifically for ultrabooks. Previously we added all ultrabooks into the premium notebooks category. We now have 18 ultrabooks in our database for you to choose from and will keep adding them as they are released. In total we added 266 new notebooks which brings the total number of notebook models in our Notebook Finder database to 4594. Full list of notebooks models added after the break.

Notebook Finder Update – January 2012

Another big update to our notebook database this month as manufacturers were updating their current models with new Intel and AMD processors that were released couple of months ago. Notebook Finder Update – October 2011

Not that many new models have been released this month. It seems like manufacturers are holding back for the holiday season. In November we should finally see those sexy ultrabooks hitting the stores. In total we added 132 notebooks which brings the total number of notebook models in our Notebook Finder database to 3551. Notebook Finder Update – September 2011

This month we finally see AMD Fusion based notebooks hit the stores with Dell, HP, Lenovo and Toshiba leading the way. Other then that even more Sandy Bridge models. We are however looking forward the next couple of months which should see a flood of so called “Ultrabooks” – MacBook Air like Windows notebooks being released. There was no trully buzz-worthy notebook released this month. Perhaps closest would be Dell Vostro V131 portable notebook. In total we added 195 notebooks. Notebook Finder Update – July 2011

June and July have seen more Sandy Bridge based notebooks being released into the wild. AMD Fusion – a cheaper alternative to Sandy Bridge notebooks started appearing in more and more notebooks as well. we have seen even more Sandy Bridge notebook models being released and we expect this trend to continue into the summer. The most buzz-worthy notebook award this month goes no doubt to the refreshed 13-inch MacBook Air that is pretty much identical to its predecessor except it now comes with Intel Sandy Bridge inside rather then the puny Intel Core 2 Duo that Apple packed in last year. In total we added 174 notebooks in July 2011. This brings the total number of notebook models in our Notebook Finder database to 3224. Full list of notebooks models added after the break.

May 2011 Notebook Models Added to Our Notebook Finder

In May we have seen even more Sandy Bridge notebook models being released and we expect this trend to continue into the summer. We also saw a blast from the past with some of the manufacturers such as Lenovo, HP and Dell releasing new models with Intel Core 2 Duo processors – probably just clearing out the stock to make room for more Sandy Bridge models. The most buzz-worthy notebook award this month goes to Samsung 900X3A premium notebook that is set to show that Windows notebooks can be as sexy as the ones from a “Californian fruit company”. In total we added 271 notebooks for May 2011. This brings the total number of notebook models in our Notebook Finder database to 3050. Full list of notebooks models added after the break.
