Dell Inspiron 15 N5050 climbed up 6 places to the number 1 spot but Toshiba grabbed the most spots with 3, while Dell got 2 and Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Sony and HP got one each. In addition to failing to grab the top spot for third month in a row it only got 2 entries, which is a first since our chart began. Welcome to the February 2012 edition of our Top 10 Most Popular Notebooks chart. To no surprise HP was again most popular manufacturer with 5 entries, while Toshiba and Lenovo each got 2 and Asus took only one spot. Welcome to the first edition in the New Year. In January 2012 HP continues its dominance with grabbing top 3 spots and 6 spots all together with the HP Pavillion g6-1240sa remaining on the #1 spot. Last month HP finally lost the grip on the top spot but in December it came back with a vengance. The HP Pavilion g6-1200 (g6-1240sa) grabbed the top spot with nearly 4 times the views of the second placed Toshiba Satellite L755 (13K). Now, that’s what we call a comeback.
